Abstract
In this paper, we propose and analyze zero correlation duration (ZCD) code as interference-cancelled spread codes for transmitter identification (TxID) scheme of terrestrial digital media broadcasting (T-DMB) systems. The proposed ZCD codes can be simply implemented and has ZCD characteristics. The performance is evaluated in terms of detection error rate (DER). From simulation results, it is confirmed that the proposed ternary ZCD code has better performance than conventional Kasami code. The results of the paper can be applied to wireless multimedia digital broadcasting systems.
