Abstract
According to the design principal of generalization and modularization, we made the best of the technical advantages of the LXI (LAN extensions for instruments) to design the hardware platform of this Universal Test System of a Missile Launcher in line and shop (UTSML), and described its software model based on UML (Unified Modeling Language). In the way, flexible hardware platform and reusable software platform were built successfully, and UTSML could also be remotely controlled easily. And then, we analyzed the key technology of the timing synchronization among many instrumentations and the software test technique of TPS (test program set). Test results had proved that UTSML improved the agility of the configuration, and it was more cost effective.
