  • Abstract
    A number of key societal challenges call for more sustainable solutions that will require the combination of diverse technologies or call for radically new technologies. These solutions will be backboned by smart mobile devices and huge data centers and servers, the key constituents of a new information universe. This evolution drives the need to keep on scaling logic and memory technologies, and introduce new materials and challenging device architectures.
