Abstract :
There are mainly two kinds of methods for foreign fiber detecting, one is image processing which is applied more widely because of its lower cost, and the other is model identifing. This article will carry out a design scheme which takes ADSP-BF533 as the core processor based on image processing theory. The foreign fiber detecting algorithm produced by auther will be migrated onto ADSP-BF533. Research and data simulation experiments have proved that this foreign fiber detecting system based on ADSP-BF533 can meet both validity and real-time requirement for foreign fiber detecting. The mathematic model, algorithm and development experience described in the article can be also migrated and applied to other correlative projects, especially projects of textile field.
