Abstract :
The conventional method for the detection of soil nitrate and chlorine are time-consuming and expensive. The method for rapid and low-cost detection of soil nitrate and chlorine are urgently needed. In this study, a soil nitrate and chlorine rapid simultaneous detection system was developed based on two ion-selective electrodes (ISEs). The potentiometric experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of two ISEs and multiple linear regression (MLR) was used for modeling at different temperature. The lower detection limits of both ISEs were 5times10-5 mol/L with a regression coefficient of 0.994 and 0.997 respectively. At different temperatures, the potentiometric experiments were conducted and multiple SLRs were used for temperature-calibrated modeling with average relative error of 4.7% and 5.4% respectively. This study might be suitable for in-field soil nitrate and chlorine rapid detection application.
