Abstract :
Since the pedal push force is a key evaluation parameter during the process of ridding a bicycle, it is practically important to measure and detect the pedal push force. This paper focuses on the sensory device of measuring the pedal push force. By using ANSYS software of the FEM, the finite element stress calculation and analysis of the sensory device are carried out. The related parameters, such as the sizes and shape of the sensory device, the mounted position of resistance strain elements, and so on, are optimized. With the present method, a sensory device of dynamically measuring the pedal push force is designed with utility value.
