Abstract
This paper develops and proposes a practical way to improve the quality of Systems Design, Systems Engineering symposia, & Working Groups through the introduction and use of a generic architecture based model designed to enable the characteristics of, relationships and interfaces between, systems engineering areas, papers in symposia, and between working groups, to be analysed and defined in a disciplined manner. The author proposes that the resultant model must be an essential factor in the search for “Architectural Based Design” for the improved design of all systems
