Abstract
Current Mobile healthcare solutions use different wireless protocols, leading to inconvenient management for patients and clinics. Here a universal architecture is proposed to allow various wireless protocols to operate seamlessly. For further application of ultra-wide band together with Bluetooth, WiFi and ZigBee, two UWB antennas are simulated and measured. With half circle grounded, these UWB antennas have the advantage of miniaturization than conventional patch UWB antennas. Half-cut design can obtain lower frequency range with half size of the full design.
