Abstract
A new excitation control system for synchronous generator based on DSP (TMS320F28335) is introduced in this paper. This paper analyzes the principles, structure and functions of the excitation control system in detail. Hardware design contains AD conversion module, digital signal input/output module, Controller Area Network (CAN) module, frequency measurement module and FRAM module. The software design contains the main program and the interrupt service routine. The experiments show that this kind of excitation control system is feasible.
