Abstract
Summary form only given. We describe a diode-pumped Cr:LiSrAlF/sub 6/ laser with a femtosecond output continuously tunable between 809 and 910 nm. A power of 110 mW was produced at 870 nm with a pulse duration of 80 fs. This is a significantly wider tuning range than normally obtained with diode-pumped tunable lasers.
