Abstract :
The on-line realization of the algorithms and the applications of the wavelet transformation and wavelet analysis theory in filtering and de-noising of MEMS gyro are presented in this paper. The process of wavelet filtering is as following: The real-time gyro signals are decomposed into different scales by low-pass and high-pass filter to discard wavelet coefficients; Then the signal is filtered and de-noised on different scales by multi-rescaled soft threshold and reconstructed by the basic wavelets and the filter. Examples with actual experiment demonstrate that the method has apparent superiority for filtering gyro random noise. The results of the simulation indicate valid and practical on filtering and de-noising of MEMS gyro. This method can also be used to process the output signal of other kinds of gyroscope.
