  • Abstract
    This paper presents a new model to compute the degree of unbalanced in case of self-excited induction generator. Model is based upon the symmetrical component approach. Shunt magnetizing reactance of negative sequence equivalent circuit, generally omitted by the researchers is accounted in the proposed model. Simulated results as obtained are used to analyze the effect of variation in load and excitation capacitance on the degree of unbalance.
