Abstract :
Summary form only given. The report is devoted to the experimental realization of the BRIEFING-type image reconstruction procedure. We used a 23 /spl mu/m-thick nematic liquid crystal cell as a nonlinear element, which introduced phase modulation proportional to the local intensity. Pairs of far-field intensity patterns were registered by CCD camera and recorded into a computer with a moderate spatial resolution.
