Abstract :
The source parameters are usually estimated in the noise environment. In the case of the strong interference, the conventional approaches fail. Hence, interferers have to be removed before estimating the source parameters. In this paper, a new method is presented to suppress strong interference, and the source number and the direction of arrival (DOA) are evaluated by incorporating of Gerschgorin disk estimation (GDE) criterion and MUSIC technique. Finally, the proposed approach has been proven in the strong jamming environment.
