Abstract :
The performance of the broadband wireless communication system with single carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) will be affected seriously by the tracking accuracy of frequency offset and timing offset. Especially when the length of the frame is high the frequency tracking must be very accurate. But in multi-path fading channel if the general frequency tracking loop is used the stable tracking error will occur. In order to solve this problem a high-accuracy closed-loop frequency offset tracking algorithm based on the differential correlation between the pilot sequences in two adjacent frames is proposed. And by means of unique word (UW) sequence the robust timing tracking is implemented in early-late phase-locked loop. The simulation results show that the frequency tracking and timing tracking algorithm given by this paper has good tracking performance even when SNR is very low.
