Abstract
Summary form only given. In this work, an electronic frequency tuning of a Ti:sapphire laser over more than 100 nm has been achieved with a computer-controlled acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) and dispersion-compensation optics. Fast and random-ordered wavelength selection of individual output pulses have been demonstrated. The pump laser is a frequency doubled Q-switched Nd:YAG laser.
