Abstract :
Mathematical and knowledge based models are the cornerstones of most autonomie network and systems monitoring operations. The models embody knowledge and experiences of monitoring the vast varieties of systems and their behaviours. These many models constitute a lot of unshared knowledge because of differing network dynamics, heterogeneity and interests. One way of making these models sharable is by making them searchable, reusable and adaptable. In this paper, we employ the concept of Active Information Resource (AIR) to give interactive abilities to knowledge models so that they can easily be searched, reused and adapted. The objective is to improve knowledge and experience transfer across system monitoring centers of our networks.
