Abstract :
Summary form only given. Polymer materials strongly improve the propagation properties in several types of waveguides. Here we demonstrate another important advantage of the polymer, i.e., that the polymer itself can be utilized as a probe for contactless and noninvasive on-chip measurements of high-frequency electric fields up to 1.95 THz via electric-field-induced second-harmonic (EFISH) generation.
