  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. Q-switched frequency-doubled visible laser pumped by laser diode is a very important device and has wide applications. LD-pumped self-frequency-doubled green laser has attracted a great deal of interest in recent years because of its small size, light weight, and simplicity of fabrication. But up to date the reported peak power of this kind of laser is not large enough for most applications. We report the first, to our knowledge, acousto-optic Q-switched self-frequency-doubling laser pumped by LD.
