Abstract :
Since the beginning of the last century, the problem of oscillator circuit design is a main subject for analog circuit designers. In recent years, the study of differential VCOs has received attention because of their importance in a number of applications. We present an analysis of the steady state oscillation of integrated differential VCOs which is based on a nonlinear model of the oscillator. Starting from the Andronov Hopf theorem, we analyze the stability and we also apply methods to predict the amplitude.
