Abstract
A complexity-efficient frequency selective digital transmission (FSDT) scheme for human body communications is presented. With the proposed modification of the FSDT transmitter structure, the look-up table size is reduced by half, and the proposed detection method enables the number of the Hamming distance computation in the maximum likelihood detector to be halved without any degradation of the data rate or performance.
