Abstract :
Summary form only given. Experimental result for liquid crystal (LC) fibers and fiber arrays of wide ranging length (i.e., thickness), core-diameters and LC mixtures, including color images transmitted by the array, along with a theoretical modeling of the fundamental nonlinear optical processes involved in the laser-material interactions and nonlinear waveguiding, are presented.
