Abstract :
Summary form only given. We have demonstrated the simultaneous multiband generation of mid-IR optical parametric oscillator output near 2.5 /spl mu/m and 4 /spl mu/m using periodically poled LiNbO/sub 3/ (PPLN) and AgGaSe/sub 2/. The overall conversion efficiency exceeded 50% in the case of PPLN.
