Abstract
In the present paper, the problem of I/O decoupling with dynamic proper feedback and static regular precompensator is studied. The goal is to transform a multi-input multi-output system to a set of single-input single-output systems. By achieving that, all the work that has to be done with respect to system theory analysis, like pole assignment, stability etc., becomes much easier to be carried out. The necessary and sufficient conditions for which the decoupling problem is resolved are derived and the general form of the feedback matrices solving the problem, as well as the structure of the decoupled system is presented. The results are illustrated through application to a V/STOL aircraft in hovering conditions
