Abstract :
Summary form only given. In summary, the behavior of laser ablated species and the temperature distributions during pulsed-laser deposition of YBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 7/ high-Tc thin films have been visualized using 2D laser induced fluorescence (LIF). The results show that the present technique is very powerful to understand the dynamic behavior of the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) process.
