Abstract :
Summary form only given. Solitons in a dual-core fiber have been considered in a number of works. Usually, the two cores are assumed to be identical. However, fibers with dissimilar cores are of interest too. In this work, we consider the simplest model of a fiber with mismatched cores in which the only effective difference between the cores is in the phase velocities.
