Abstract
Summary form only given. We have performed difference-frequency generation in a noncritically phase-matched RTA crystal, using radiation at 1.064 /spl mu/m from a diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser, and at 3.192 /spl mu/m from a CO overtone (/spl Delta//spl nu/=2) laser. The system was used to construct a 3:1 optical frequency divider.
