Abstract :
Summary form only given. A novel integrated-optics MUX/DEMUX has been fabricated for use in closely spaced WDM systems. Its simple design lends itself to large-scale production and hence low costs. Its fabrication techniques will be described and measurements of its main characteristics will be discussed.
