Abstract
Summary form only given. Our investigation of SRS in barium nitrate crystal was based on well developed Nd lasers as a pump sources, working at 1.064, 1.079, 1.318 and 1.338 /spl mu/m and tunable LiF:F/sub 2//sup -/ MALSAN203 color center lasers. The wavelengths of laser oscillation obtained under these pumping from barium nitrate Raman shifter can cover spectral region from 1.0 to 1.6 /spl mu/m. We investigated SRS scattering in Ba(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/ crystals.
