Abstract :
In recent times, there has been a plethora of papers in the literature dealing with wireless communication. Many of these techniques when viewed under the Maxwellian framework raise more questions than it answers. The objective of this presentation is to discuss some of these concerns and initiate a dialog about the scientific merits of these new concepts. One of the points to be made is that an incorrect use of probability theory can often lead to erroneous results directly contradicting physics. A few examples are presented to initiate the dialog.
