Abstract :
This work establishes a methodology to determine the steady state three-phase squirrel cage induction motor´s equivalent circuit parameters using the finite element method. The results are compared with classic methodologies to determine the induction motor parameters by analytical calculations and validated against tests carried out at CEPEL.
