Abstract
An iterative method based on a Lanczos-like algorithm for the solution of large systems of linear equations having multiple right-hand sides is presented. In connection with a novel S-parameter extraction technique, the method allows efficient handling of multiport planar structures with the spectral-domain analysis method. Measured and calculated results for closely coupled microstrip branchline couplers and patch couplers are presented.<>
