Abstract :
A direct method for the design of active filters using the simplified real frequency technique is presented. This method bypasses the analytic theory and yields the maximum flat transducer power gain possible. An example for low-pass filters is given. The example involves an active filter over the band 1-5 GHz, with a transmission zero at 5.6 GHz.<>
