Abstract
Presents the use of planar millimeter-wavelength whispering-gallery dielectric resonator modes for designing a W-band Gunn diode oscillator. An oscillator has been realized in the 90-100 GHz band, the performances of which are better than those obtained by using a conventional metallic resonator.<>
