Abstract :
A computer-controlled noise parameter measurement system utilizing a novel programmable load is presented. Both signal and noise measurements are possible using only two transfer switches. A thorough mathematical treatment and accuracy calculations are presented. The performance of the system is verified by measurements at 4-8 GHz.<>
