Abstract
Summary form only given. In summary, we have demonstrated a 120-km, cascaded-EDFA-based, hybrid AM-VSB/256 quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) video lightwave link that offers AM CNR >49 dB, CSO and CTB <-63 dBc, and a 256-QAM BER <10/sup -9/.
