Abstract
A Filter Integrated Color vidicon (FIC vidicon) has been developed for single-pickup-tube simultaneous-color television cameras. The structure is identical to that of conventional 1-inch separate mesh, magnetically deflected and focused vidicons except for the optical structure and properties of the glass faceplate, which is composed of: (a) two kinds of filter stripes, red-reflecting and blue-reflecting; (b) a spatial-frequency-limiting quartz plate; and (c) an In2 O3 transparent electrode.
