Abstract
A software system has been developed that allows very convenient implementation of multimedia knowledge representation for various narrow domains. The system is developed on the Sun workstations, which allow multiple processes to be carried out simultaneously, provide large screens for clear multiple-window displays which are mouse oriented, and offer a networked environment allowing remote multiple-user access of the same files. The system matches the human cognitive model and is particularly easy to learn and to use
