Abstract
Europium- and dysprosium-doped lutetium orthophosphate (LuPO4 : Eu3+,Dy3+) phosphors have been investigated for their temperature-dependent emission properties. It is shown that these phosphor crystals can be utilized in remote thermophosphor thermometry up to 1200°C and beyond. The emission and excitation spectra measured as a function of temperature for double-doped LuPO4: Eu3+,Dy3+ are presented
