  • Abstract
Summary form only given. Standard ultrafast studies rely mainly on pump-probe experiments. We present a degenerate configuration (laser pulses of the same optical and spatial frequency) where new terms in the third order polarizations will fully develop. It opens a new way to analyze optical dynamics. The third-order polarization for a collinear pump-probe experiment is analysed.
