Abstract :
Summary form only given. We performed first four wave mixing (FWM) measurements with this new technique using an additive pulse modelocked (APM) color center laser and studied a polarization insensitive InGaAsP bulk amplifier with a length of 250 /spl mu/m. The measured dependence of the FWM amplitude on pump and probe intensity is depicted as a double-logarithmic. It is obvious that both dependencies fit very well with the expectations for the FWM signal.
