Abstract
Rules for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of shipboard radioelectronic equipment in the USSR are discussed. The existing rules, the regulating document (RD), apply to shipboard radioelectronic and electrical equipment as well as to the ship´s topside elements, feeder lines, and antennas. The requirements of this RD. represented in report, apply to the vessels designed, retrofitted, or converted, and cover the entire frequency range allocated for maritime mobile service
