Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach to handling ac space charge effects in gyrotron-type devices. Using the newly developed beamlet theory, a complete self-consistent small-signal theory of TEomgyrotrons is presented. In particular, a reduced plasma frequency and a plasma reduction factor are defined.
