Abstract
This paper describes our gyrotron development status which has been carried out since 1980. We have developed 22 GHz gyrotron and output power of 40 kW was obtained. And useful test results on the efficiency characteristics, the influence of cathode angle of magnetron injection gun on the tube efficiency, was obtained. And efficiency of 40-45 % was obtained. Furthermore, we are now developing 70 GHz gyrotron which is now under the evaluation test. The latest experimental results are presented.
