Abstract
Summary form only given. We have demonstrated that application of a magnetic field is a powerful tool to investigate the interplay between the fundamental processes governing the nonlinear optical response of excitons. We explore these processes in an optically thin, 0.25 /spl mu/m, bulk GaAs sample by time-resolved and frequency-resolved four wave mixing.
