Abstract
Summary form only given. In this talk we present an extensive study of the properties of two-dimensional spatial solitons in 2+1 dimensions in a media with saturable nonlinearity. In particular the theory describes the properties of spatial photorefractive screening solitons. The refractive index change resulting from the electro-optic effect induced by an applied voltage V and influenced by the space-charge field screening owing to the generation of charge carrier by the optical beam is taken into account.
