The up-to-date development conceptions of integrated distributed databases of the oil-and-gas production enterprises

The oil-and-gas production enterprise activity can be subdivided into three main types of problems, which are solved by applying information technologies: the production problems; the economic ones; and the problems of exploitation control. The forming of the common information zone of an oil-and-gas production enterprise necessitates data integration. The integrated database development accompanies the solving of the following conceptual problems: the database interconnection at a physical level, the synchronization and the data backup, the openness of data formats, the universality of data access arrangements and the supply of access control and data security. Thereto we should integrate data in each of the three mentioned problem types. The mentioned conceptual tasks belonging to the production sector and the economic sector can be solved by using software of the same producer.
