Abstract :
Presents a synopsis of a white paper, "???5G???Rethink Mobile Communications For 2020+??? that was presented at the International Workshop on 5G ICT-2014??? which was held in Beijing on November 6, 2014. Reports that The Ministry of Science and Technology has invested about 300 million yuan in major R & D projects of 5G mobile communication systems in the national 863 plan. Also reports on a National Major Project, undertaken by China Mobile Communications Company Research Institute in the area of TD-LET outdoor communications.
