Abstract :
Five different methods for obtaining discrete-time approximations of multivariable continuous-time systems are discussed. Three of these have been proposed by the authors. A comparison between the methods is presented through numerical examples. The results should be valuable for the digital simulation of multivaiiable systems as well as for computer control.
