Abstract :
A new automatic technique for measuring the coupling coefficients, resonant frequency and quality factors of transmission resonators is presented. It is based on the simultaneous measurement of the transmitted and reflected power near resonance. A linear regression analysis provides the resonator parameters with good accuracy. The accuracies of the measurements are 1 part in 107 for the resonant frequency, 0.1% for the quality factor and 1% for the coupling coefficients
